About Me

My professional education it’s in engineering domain but I was born with an artistic and creative eye.

I am a young artist on a journey in discovering and nourishing my burning passion for paintings where my creativity meets my imagination to express myself. I started to paint no more than 6 years ago being inspired and encouraged to paint by an architect and painter. Currently, I am leaving in Czech Republic and my paintings can be found in many countries as my home town Craiova in Romania, Czech Republic, France, Belgium and Switzerland.

I always loved to create abstract paintings because I can express myself better using colors in the most powerful way, allowing them to mix themselves using gravity. Through my paintings I want to convey to the viewer the same emotions I felt while painting. In a time where everyone is moved by anything, emotions still exist and they are in each and every one. The most important for me is to see how people are moved by what they see and if my art work is awakening their emotions when they are viewing my paintings.

In general, abstract paintings can be interpreted and felt in many, total different, ways, from a person to another. I studied for many months the most famous contemporary painters and their technique as Michelangelo (painter, sculptor and architect), Rembrandt (remarkable artist, expert in using the light and dark), Dali (surrealist painter), Picasso (co-creator of cubism), Gustav Klimt, etc. but my favorite will always remain the controversial abstract expressionist Jackson Pollock because he liked to express his feelings rather than illustrate it.

As F. D. Roosevelt say it once, happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort. When I paint, the world is slowly fading leaving nothing but the canvas, my brush and the colors. At the core of my conception, imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's incoming attractions, which involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look inside the box from outside of it.
